David Krall, President and Chief Operating Officer

David Krall joins Roku as the company’s President and Chief Operating Officer, reporting to CEO, Anthony Wood. Prior to joining Roku, David served for one and a half years as President and CEO of QSecure and now serves as Executive Chair of the QSecure Board of Directors. Before joining QSecure, David served for seven years as President and CEO of Avid Technology, Inc., a leading tools provider to the media and entertainment industries, based in Tewksbury Massachusetts. Under David's leadership, Avid doubled its revenues to just under $1 Billion annually, introduced groundbreaking new products in its core businesses, and expanded into new markets through organic growth and strategic acquisitions.

David brings broad experience to Roku in the areas of new product development, integration of complex software and hardware solutions, strategy formation, and general management. David has experience working in companies ranging from small startups to public companies with thousands of employees serving worldwide marketplaces.

David holds Bachelor of Science and Master’s of Electrical Engineering degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a master of business administration degree, with distinction, from the Harvard Business School.

Anthony Wood, Founder and CEO

Anthony Wood has been the CEO since the inception of Roku. Prior to Roku, Anthony invented the digital video recorder (DVR) and founded ReplayTV, where he served as President and CEO before the company's acquisition, and subsequent sale to DirecTV. Before ReplayTV, Anthony was Founder and CEO of iband, Inc., an Internet software company sold to Macromedia in 1996, whose code base became a central part of the original core code of Macromedia Dreamweaver. At Macromedia, Anthony was vice president of Internet Authoring. Earlier in his career, Anthony was Founder and CEO of SunRize Industries, a leading supplier of hardware and software tools for non-linear audio recording and editing. Anthony holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University.

David Krall, President and Chief Operating Officer

David Krall joins Roku as the company’s President and Chief Operating Officer, reporting to CEO, Anthony Wood. Charles Seiber, Vice President, Marketing

Building on his background in consumer products, design and innovation, Chuck Seiber leads Roku’s marketing and services efforts. Previously, Chuck was Director of Marketing at Logitech, working in the business units and worldwide marketing organizations to develop new businesses around laptops and home entertainment. He was later responsible for marketing strategy and planning as well as consumer research. Prior to joining Logitech, Chuck was Director of Client Services and a senior product designer at the international design and innovation consultancy IDEO. Chuck has served as a lecturer in product design at Stanford University and has been awarded over 30 patents. He holds an MBA as well as bachelors and master’s degrees in engineering from Stanford, and studied industrial design at the Royal College of Art in London.

James Wong, Vice President, Operations

James manages Roku's procurement, manufacturing, logistics and technical support. James joined Roku from Netflix where he worked on developing the manufacturing relationships for Netflix's Internet TV initiative. James brings with him over 25 years of experience with customer service, purchasing and logistics. Prior to Netflix he was Senior Director of Operations for Netgear managing manufacturing and distribution activities for their networking products.

Jim Funk, Vice President of Business Development

Jim leads partnership and content relationship efforts for Roku. Jim was previously the VP of Business Development for Internet TV at Netflix. Prior to Netflix, Jim was VP Marketing & Co-Founder at Akimbo Systems. Previously Jim has held executive management positions at Macromedia and marketing positions at Apple. Jim has both a MBA and a bachelor's degree from Stanford University.

Mark Goodwin, Director, Software Engineering, Consumer Products

Mark Goodwin leads Roku's product development.Mark joined Roku from DIRECTV where he was a Senior Director in their Advertising Engineering group. Prior to DIRECTV, Mark held various senior engineering management positions including VP Engineering at D&M Holdings Inc. and has been a key player in the design and development of digital video recorders products. Mark holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from University of Teesside in the United Kingdom.

David Westerhoff, Director, Software Engineering, Consumer Products

Dave Westerhoff leads Roku's software engineering team and focuses on the development of technology and tools for the Roku platform. Dave joined Roku from Netflix where he was Director of Software Engineering for the Internet TV group. Prior to Netflix, Dave held senior engineering management positions at D&M Holdings, ReplayTV, and Lucent Technologies. Dave holds a bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University.

Greg Garner, Director of Hardware Engineering

Greg Garner is Director of Hardware Engineering for Roku. Prior to joining Roku, Greg was President of Real Time Engineering and served as Vice President of Engineering at Artran, Inc. Greg holds a Master of Science and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.

Ann Hover, Director of Finance and Operations

Ann Hover is responsible for management of all accounting and HR related activities, as well as operations. Ann has extensive experience working for consumer electronics companies, most recently at DNNA as the Divisional Controller for the RIO MP3 division. Prior to DNNA, Ann was the Accounting Manager at SonicBlue and at ReplayTV, and part of the finance team at Storm Technology. Ann holds a bachelor's degree from University of California, Santa Barbara.
