Alison Dean is senior vice president of corporate finance and principal accounting officer. She has served on iRobot’s finance team in a variety of executive positions since 2005, including vice president of financial controls and analysis and vice president of financial planning and analysis. Prior to joining iRobot, for 10 years Dean served in a number of senior positions at 3Com Corporation, including vice president and corporate controller and vice president of finance for worldwide sales. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Brown University and a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University.

Colin Angle

Chairman of the Board, CEO and Co-Founder

Colin Angle guides the strategic direction of iRobot. One of the world’s leading authorities on mobile robots, Angle is an industry pioneer with more than two decades of experience. Under his leadership, iRobot is at the forefront of the growing robot industry, delivering home and military robots that are making a difference. Angle’s keen sense of business strategy is a driving force behind iRobot’s successful identification and execution of expansion opportunities. With Angle’s guidance, iRobot has formed key strategic partnerships, building on decades of expertise from each partner to create new and innovative robot solutions.

Angle’s leadership and vision for the future of robots have been recognized with numerous professional awards. He has been named CEO of the Year by the Mass Technology Leadership Council, a Mass High Tech All-Star, one of Fortune Small Business Magazine’s Best Bosses and New England Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young with iRobot co-founder Helen Greiner. Angle sits on the board of directors of Zeo Inc. and is active on the Robotics & Intelligent Machines (RIM) advisory board. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in computer science, both from MIT.

John J. Leahy

Chief Financial Officer

John Leahy has more than 25 years of extensive financial experience at multi-national companies in technology and consumer industries. Prior to joining iRobot, he served for eight years as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Keane Inc., a $950 million IT business consulting and outsourcing services company. Previously, Leahy worked at PepsiCo for 17 years, holding several executive positions in finance and strategic planning in the United States and abroad. Leahy holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Merrimack College and a master’s degree in business administration from Boston College.

Vice Admiral Joseph W. Dyer (U.S. Navy, Ret.)

President – Government & Industrial Robots Division

Joe Dyer leads the Government and Industrial Robots Division. He comes to iRobot from a career in the U.S. Navy. Dyer last served as the commander of the Naval Air Systems Command, where he was responsible for research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and logistics for naval aircraft, air launched weapons and sensors. His naval career also included positions as naval aviation's chief engineer, commander of the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division and F/A-18 program manager. Earlier in his career, he served as the Navy's chief test pilot. Dyer holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University and a master’s degree in finance from the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, California. He is an elected fellow in the Society of Experimental Test Pilots and the National Academy of Public Administration. Dyer chairs NASA's Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel.

Jeffrey A. Beck

President and General Manager – Home Robots Division

Jeff Beck brings more than 20 years of high-technology leadership to iRobot. As president and general manager of Home Robots, he is responsible for all aspects of the division’s global strategy, product development and operations. Prior to joining iRobot, Beck served as senior vice president and general manager of the aerospace and defense division of AMETEK, Inc. He has also held senior management positions at Danaher Corporation and Emerson Electric Corporation. Earlier in his career, Beck was a mechanical design engineer at Sargent & Lundy Consulting Engineers. He holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the N.J. Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University.

Glen Weinstein

Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Glen Weinstein has been with iRobot since 2000, where he advises the company on all general legal matters, including issues related to intellectual property, product development and distribution and financing. Prior to joining iRobot,. Weinstein was with Covington & Burling, a law firm in Washington, D.C., where he advised clients in various matters related to intellectual property, including licensing transactions, litigation and patent prosecution. Prior to joining Covington & Burling, Weinstein was a law clerk to both the Honorable Randall R. Rader, Circuit Judge, U. S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the Honorable Roger B. Andewelt, U. S. Court of Federal Claims. Weinstein holds a law degree from the University of Virginia and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from MIT.

Jay Leader

Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer

Jay Leader brings nearly 25 years of international IT management experience to iRobot. His expertise includes extensive IT management, strategic planning and financial management, and infrastructure and security management. Prior to joining iRobot, Leader was CIO at Nypro Inc., a $1.2 billion injection molding and contract manufacturing firm with 66 locations in 18 countries. He was responsible for worldwide IT operations, managing support and development organizations in the U.S., Latin America, Europe and China. Earlier in his career, Leader served in IT management positions at Coopers & Lybrand LLP, Groundwater Technology Inc. and Data General Corporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in government and international relations and a master’s degree in business administration, both from Clark University.

Tod Loofbourrow

President – Healthcare Business Unit

Tod Loofbourrow has 25 years of entrepreneurial experience building businesses and driving category creation. His expertise includes software-as-a-service, consulting and healthcare information technology. Prior to joining iRobot, Loofbourrow was founder, CEO and chairman of Authoria, Inc., a leader in benefits and talent management for Fortune 2000 clients. Previously, he served as founder, managing director and CEO of Foundation Technologies, a strategic consulting firm for Fortune 2000 CIOs. Loofbourrow holds a bachelor of arts degree from Harvard University.

Penny Outlaw

Vice President of Human Resources

Penny Outlaw oversees the provision of all human resources services at iRobot. She brings 20 years of related human resources experience to her position. Prior to joining iRobot, Outlaw held senior human resources positions at Harvard University, Staples, Wang Laboratories, First National Bank of Boston and the Massachusetts Department of Employment and Training. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Harvard University.
